Collagen
Serum is a preparation intended for the care of skin around eyes. The
product is collagen gel with a uniform gel consistency, slightly
opalescent colour and weak characteristic smell. The Collagen Serum
contains more Collagen in "collagen" meaning it contains more collagen
in dry mass. The content of Collagen in the Serum was increased by 10%.
The preparation has been enriched with valuable Vitamins A & E,
valuable for a healthy appearance of the skin. Since vitamins are strong
antioxidants the loss of their activity is prevented by closing in
spheres from which they are released only in contact with the skin.
Vitamin A - used externally, has a multi-directional effect on the skin. First of all it inhibits the production of collagenases and elastases responsible for the degradation of fibres forming the structure of our skin. The inhibition of their synthesis leads to the reduction of wrinkles and rejuvenation of skin. At the same time vitamin A provides greater protection from UV by increased production of a natural filter – melanin. On the other hand the vitamin mitigates the influence of harmful radiation as it inhibits the differentiation of keratinocytes. Excessive growth of the most external layer of epidermis made of these cells makes the skin coarse and sallow. Vitamin A penetrating the skin increases its impermeability to water, thus preventing its loss from deeper layers. The skin becomes better moisturised and at the same time soft and smooth. The application of vitamin A stimulates the skin to produce epidermal proteins, thus increasing the density of the dermis and improving its structure. At the same time vitamin A stimulates the skin cells by working with different enzymes, in consequence leading to an increase in elasticity and density of the skin.
Vitamin A is also a well-known antioxidant. It protects the skin cells from the unfavourable effects of free radicals by their uptake.
Vitamin E - one of the strongest antioxidants. Supplied to the skin, works mostly in the intercellular space, capturing free radicals. The deactivation of these harmful molecules prevents the oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids forming the cellular membrane of each live cell and enzymes working with that membrane. Such action ensures the proper functioning of the skin cells and their integrity. However, vitamin E is not only a simple antioxidant. There are also other reasons it has a beneficial influence on the appearance of our skin. The substance has the ability to decrease the synthesis of collagenases, mitigate skin inflammations, regulate the differentiation of skin cells, and increase the moisturisation of stratum corneum. It also protects against
environmental contamination, e.g. ozone. Such multi-directional action makes the skin smoother and more firm, improves its colour and simply restores the lost youthfulness.
Effects
- Distinct effect of rejuvenated skin around eyes
- Decreased visibility of wrinkles
- Active protection from premature ageing of skin around eyes
- Care of demanding and very delicate skin around eyes
- Moisturisation, smoothing and firming of the skin with restoration of youthful glow
Ingredients
Collagen - a protein constituting ca. 30% of total human protein and as much as 70% of skin protein. In the dermis collagen with elastin forms an elastic net which ensures flexibility and firmness of the skin and supports fibroblasts. Moreover, collagen has an extraordinary ability to bind water, thus contributing to proper moisturisation of the skin. Collagen stimulates the processes of renovation, deeply regenerating, moisturising and firming the skin.Vitamin A - used externally, has a multi-directional effect on the skin.
